Got my second 1987 gt t tops about a year ago and picked up my third 1979 notch 3 days ago.
Also found a gem at the crusher pile

The only things I did not like about the 79 interior were door handles by your ankles, and no cup holder. I like the dash, especially how easy it was to change the heater core on a dealer air car.

I remember other cars from that era that had the door openers down low like that... Anyone know what the purpose was for installing them down so low?

My guess is #16 on the list - it’s harder to hook then with a coat hanger?
