firewall plate? I think I like it. It is held on with million mph tape currently in case I want to remove it.

I like it better than the wavy stock sheetmetal. If it were my car, I'd go buy a halfpint of reefblue paint, scuff it and shoot it, then install it... But that's just me. I like polished aluminum/stainless when it's functional. Too much takes attention away from the engine..I think i'd probably also paint the core support cover as well. Again, just me.

I am going to leave it for now. I just wanted to block the missing wiper motor hole.

It's aluminium and I have zero skill for painting so it will stay as is. If I ever repaint the bay again I will have the holes filled up there.

Is that turbo a 'kit', or did you custom make it?

That is a custom turbo kit made by a local ( now closed ) shop.

The panel is from Scott Rod ( like 45 bucks)
