The jury is still out on my tire purchase, and i found that I can also get a deal on some kuhmos. i really know anything about em. Any people have opinions on them?

The kumho 712's handle pretty dang well on the street, but traction from a launch sucks.. but i have 18's so what do you expect. They definately didn't handle as well when i had them on my stock 17x8's. The Kumho MX's are more expensive but i'm sure they are quite a bit better for traction off launches.

Put on Continental Extreme Contacts after the first snow flew. These things are amazing! Great traction, better handling and a heck of a lot quieter

My friend at Radial tire says the Continentals are crap. They start out OK, but they wear unevenly and you end up wishing you had never bought them. Almost everyone who bought them from him brought them back within a couple of months. They don't even sell them anymore.

I'm just telling you what he told me...
