From time to time ... I feel the need to share a personal observation or two about what makes this place special

Simply Put ... Its the Peeps who hang here
They are just Quality Peeps :Word:

I started lurking on various Stang boards around 1995 so I have seen a thing or two.

One thing I noticed on ALL of those sites from the very beginning was ....

1) Many peeps couldn't engage in a discussion without some kind of an argument
2) They felt it necessary to defend as opposed to discuss their choice of mods
3) You very rarely saw anyone tell BOTH the good & bad they had experienced with their combo choices

Sad to say Still see that same kinda thing going on to this day

I could go on and on but it all boils down to this ..........
A) We got very knowledgeable peeps here
B) We got those just getting started in our hobby

No matter if you are an A or B kinda peep or fall somewhere in-between .........
Everybody needs to feel comfortable or be at ease when sharing or asking here

I think most peeps DO feel comfortable here and if you think about it ........
You rarely see any kind of flaming going on here

I have said some stupid things here from time to time when I was thinking out loud and trying to help someone. Even though I was not totally
sure about what I was sharing I did it without fear of flaming or being
treated in a child like manner.

When other members pointed out where my thinking was not correct ......
It was done with respect
You just can't say enough good things about that kind of behavior

Lastly ... I need to point out something else while we are talking about respectful behavior

I have been on here a long time and some might say or believe I get treated that way because of my long time standing

NO ... That is not the case

I've seen time and time again how noobs are the benefit of that same kind of respectful treatment and one could not possibly come to any other conclusion but our members conduct themselves in a way that deserves to be commended :Word: :Word: :Word:

Anyway ... Just one more time I get to say

I enjoy hanging with Quality Folk like you Guys & Gals

I coulnd't agree more.

I'm a member of so many forums. I don't know why or how, but everyone on here seems really close and friendly. It's a one of a kind forum, no matter what car I get in the future, I'm staying here forever.

Right on Grady. I was over on the "open discussion" for about a day. It is much like those other orums yo uare speaking of. Personalities range from irritated to down right mean and nasty and lookin fer trouble. Makes you wonder how people get so miserable and want to bring everyone else down with them.

Over here we have even talked politics and folks are cool about it, open for discussion and learning rather than attack and stereotype..for the most part. I think that is refreshing!

Definitely the best atmosphere there is amongst forums. I run one, and wish beyond anything it would be like this. Some think the wider the peeps are spread out, the harder it'll be to keep the peace. When actually it's the opposite. I run a local forum. Most people are within an hour drive of the others. It makes it tough to toss trouble makers... as you'll run back into them in PERSON.

Instead I wish the peeps on here were all closer together so we can all get together easier.

Yep, I basically try to keep a positive attitude and talk to you folks as if I were in front of you. Why would I do otherwise..but like many times on the road or on forums, people can get behind the wheel or the puter and put on their nasty hats, lol. After a certain level of maturity you dont do that anymore...or at least try not to.

this forum has really spoiled me. i go onto other forums for my jeep or chevy and it is like i am afraid to ask something or when i do ask something i wait three days for somebody to give the the answer "Search button". but on here, it does not matter how many times the "i was changing my oil and only 1/2 a quart came out!" thread comes out.
i love this place.

I agree completely. Best bunch of friendly guys here in this forum. Not one guy in here that could be considered an a-hole. VW forums are a joke, the monte SS forum gets their feelings hurt first mention of ford, and the falcon forum is alright, but nothing's even close to how it is here.

Absolutely , this specific forum 94-95 rocks!

I read the mayor part of other forums on mustang and not mustang related , but this is the only place where you find helpfull and good peeps.

And the best of all that there are no racial comments or whatever from the nacionality of each one

Really whats the point of beeing rude about other mustang owner just because you are from other country, i mean we are sharing the same car!! and we can both learn from each other experiences!
