You know your old when it's saturday night and you've made plans...big plans..to install a new dimmer switch in the stang!! Who would have thought I could be so happy being able to control the brightness of a gauge cluster...I am just plain giddy. Not only am I now able to dim at will, I was able to install my dome and hatch bulbs as well....the last two remaining non funtioning features on the car. This could well be one of the best nights in recent memory (aside from quality time with wife...though this is a close second)!! Imagine my joy..I can now see in the dark..dim...see in the trunk (also when dark) and hear the dingie dingie thing when the door is open. I am the happiest (saddest case) man alive..

I may need some therapy..anyone know a good therapist?

Thats pretty cool how you are completely restoring every last part of your stang! Alot of us are just happy that the car is running and fixing all the flaws is just a dream...

And you know when you're really, really old when you cant see anything after a successful dimmer install, and you never hear the functional dinger. :D

Nice work - though I disco'd the dinger wiring sometime back. I hated that thing.

Leave it to you to understand :). The dingi dingi got old two minutes after it had come back to life, however I figure it's earned some chime time after being ignored for so long. My prediction is the dingie will likely be no more before the end of the season, it's kind of like reuniting with an ex...new and exciting at first, then after just an annoying repeditive sound echoing in you ear :).

Does that mean that the sound emanating from your door dinger now makes you want to do this:

Comin' from you, I think not. :hail2:

Andy, nothing could ever make me want to do that. Nothing! :D

For everyone else, disco'd = disconnected.

You guys make me feel old because I rarely get out on Friday/Saturday nights and do much more than around-the-house stuff and/or just lounge around and be a bum watching TV/movies!
Just 'cuz I'm young doesn't mean I can't be a homebody - ya whippersnappers! :p

You know you're old when the cops stop stopping you just because you're driving a V8 Stang with loud exhaust.

The last couple of times they've seemed so disappointed when they see a 40+ year old guy when the window goes down. "Sorry sir, just make sure you come to a complete stop at that 4-way next time. Have a nice night."

You know your old when you can send your kids to the kitchen to get your beer! HAHAA!

Ok well I was ssending them when they were like 3 hehee 34 isnt old .... now that I am there.

man im 23 and in college...a junior....yea thats old for college. damn junior hockey...lol. But i cant stand the younger kids cuz they are so damn immature, then i think...5 years ago i probably would have done that same stupid crap and thought it was funny too. Good thing the young rich chics dig the older guys...:D :nice: sh! t, its not even that FUN to go out hard friday and sat nights in a row sometimes...its just plain tiring. (530am workouts with teh team doesnt help that)
