Well what ?
Proper soil, elevationFlowing water has no respect at all for concrete barriers.
This reminds me of 2005ish when all those hurricanes seemed to come one right after the other. I think Trump and all the idots in the House and Senate will not have to worry about screwing up healthcare, immigration, taxes or anything else...because they will be trying to figure out how in the hell to pay for reconstruction in Texas and Florida and maybe NC, SC, and NYC depending on the track.
Proper soil, elevation& drainage will take care of that. And if the water rises this high we'll have bigger problems to worry about.![]()
Not too many places like that here in FL. I'm at about 25 ft above sea level.
I grew up here and it was a lot nicer when they were endangered, but honestly it's the snakes and fire ants I worry more about in the event of high water.
I'd google a topographic map & find higher ground (that's close 2 U). JUST in case. Not too many places like that here in FL. I'm at about 25 ft above sea level.

I was in Fla.(in the USAF) in 69 during this one, and it wasn't a joke > https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurricane_Camille
