I have a stock bottom end, Thumpers, Tmoss lower and TF stage 1 cam.
I am looking to upgrade the MAF sensor and Throttle body. I was planning on getting a new MAF for 19# injectors but a friend has offerd me a set of 30# injectors and 75MM MAF for a good price.

Are the 30# injectors too large for my setup?
Would my Walbro 155lph keep up with them?

Thanks for the help,:SNSign:

Go with the 30's since its a good deal. They're FAR FAR from "too large".

It seems like people here always say that big injectors are never too big. well YES...they ARE too big. Go ahead and slap some 30# on there and see how it runs at low rpm/load and see how easy it is to tune it! Theres only so much FP you can take out.

Thread starter: i would look around for some 24's and matching MAF or just stick with the stockers...they will work fine. Is it a tmoss stock HO intake? what size are the valves in the heads? TFS1 is a fairly mild cam...what rocker ratio? Stock bottom end and fuel system? i would put that combo in the 240-260rwhp range which means just about 300 fwhp....right where the stock 19's approach the limits. Stick with the 19's and spend a little more $$ on a nice MAF...you can always have it re-calibrated. good luck man

A 155 will support a very lot of hp NA, around 450rwhp.

The 30's will cause it to be super rich at idle, and be a tuning nightmare.

19's will support close to 290rwhp which you will probably be about 40rwhp short of.

Thanks......Next question is what MAF to use.
I have searched this to death and can't seem to find a straight answer of what is the best product out there, Pro-M, C&L and whatever else there may be.

I read bad things about the C&L running a car lean, I guess you can clock them which seems like a PITA

I want plug and play!

How does ur car run? reason i ask is b/c i run damn near the same combo. i have thumpers. tmoss but i have a B-cam which isnt too far off from the tfs1.

i run 19lbers, i got the vortech( same thing as C&L) it came with the 19lb sampling tube. people always seemed to complain about c&l stuff. i got mine new for 130 on summit and had no problems at all. the 155 lph will be more than enough, get an adjustable regulator. it helps to fine tune things.

Runs really strong on the street, I haven't had it at the track to see what kind of times I can do with the new parts.

I do have a Adjustable Pressure Regulator, I set it at 40psi with the vac line off and engine warmed and at an idle.

I guess i will look for a Pmas/pro-m.....I have heard good things about them.

I'm sorry that you got some bad information on the 30lb injectors.

I have them, and they are "to big" for my h/c/i combo...I should have gone with 24's.

I say keep your 19's to save money, but if you have to spend....get some 24's and no bigger...good luck!

Im thinking he'll be closer then that. 275? Get an Explorer from Tmoss or a Cobra and youll be close to 300.

No where near 300 regardless of intake. The intake doesn't make the power, the heads do.
250-260 is likely.
A few people here are in the search for "300rwhp" with E7's, and they are in about as balls deep financially as it gets and still have come up short.

Once I have the TB and MAF i was hoping for 260hp. I have read about cars simular to mine in the 270's but I'm not holding my breath!.......I am not really hung up on dyno numbers, I am interested in some quicker times at the track though.
