03/04 Cobra FPW hood vents

I ordered these for the Cobra for Christmas and put them on today. They're made by FPW (Fore Precision Works) and the fit and finish was awesome. These are the black anodized ones. What do you think?

I have always wondered, what happens when it rains? Is there a drain in the hood, or does the water drip onto the engine?
You think his car will ever see rain?

On a serious note, I think rain might be an issue. If I'm not mistaken, it's an issue on the 2000 Cobra R hood as well (extreme cowl). But...you don't see those radical ponies tromping through many water puddles either. :)

What about washing? My Cervini's Air Extractor hood uses the OEM Cobra vents and I get a little water under the hood when washing. Those appear to be completely open? Or do they have some kind of door on them like the stockers do?

They look fantastic though.:nice:

UM's car never needs washed because it never gets dirty. :p

I've heard of people have soak issues with the Cervini kits as well. Not much can be done, other than to be really careful about where water is directed. I've seen one guy pack a couple of old bath towels under the hood where the extractor vents are to avoid water soak when washing it. Driving in the rain--still an issue.
