Silly question of the day. Nitrous related

With a fully hooked up system and bottle closed, how long can a full nitrous bottle be stored in your trunk? The car is almost 2yrs old and has just over 8,000 miles and is a daily driver. I may not use it for brief periods due to traveling from time to time (military). Thanks

I have no clue, I emptied mine at the track every week when I was on the juice. Scrming might know, he had it longer than I did.

I emptied my bottles about every 3rd week... LOL!
