Just wanted to introduce myself as a new '07 GT 5spd Premium owner Black/Charcoal.
Just took delivery yesterday from the dealership, and I experienced a couple of problems. In trying to get a sanity check I wanted to see what the wisdom on the forums was.
Car drove home from the dealer yesterday without problems, but went to start it this morning and I could hear the solenoid engaging, but the starter wasn't turning. Checked lights, etc - and realized they weren't dimming, and the solenoid engagement was positive (i.e. it didn't chatter as they usually do with dead batteries). I tapped the ignition key about 6 times, and finally the car started.
When it did, the low brake fluid indicator was illuminated, and the traction control light (indicating off) was on. Brake fluid seemed fine, I didn't try out the TCS to see if it did/didn't work. On the tach side, the vehicle with the skid marks was also illuminated.
The fluid wasn't low, and I couldn't turn "on" the TCS as it was disabled (depressing the button didn't do anything). I immediately drove the car to dealership since it was a starting issue - but haven't heard anything back as of yet.
This sound familiar to any tech's/owners? If so - what are the fixes?

You must absolutley demand this situation be fixed ASAFP! This is WAY out of line even for Ford. But for sure give your dealer a chance. Some are actually pretty good, and no one is going to question you, your there for nothing but answers, the right ones, and now!
