Updated pics of the pitbull!...starting to really love this dog lol

It is a RED NOSE!!! I bet you paid a small fortune for her. I love her ears!! She shows so much expression. Pits aren't mean. They are great dogs. But, if they do bite, their jaws lock. I have two Boxers. They are the best dogs. They look mean, but they are the sweetest dogs.

the locking jaw thing is a myth, it comes from the fact that when they go unconsious their jaw muscles will not relax and you would basically have to pry them off whatever they bit when they went unconsious.

My bro-in-law just got one not too long ago, it's the Brindle color and it's cool. It's about the same size. It's all in how they are raised.

My wife just went and got a Yorkshire Terrorist.

I agree with the raising part, this is my 7th dog and they only become aggressive when you keep them home all day and dont let them out to socialize with other dogs and people. Pitbulls are very social dogs so they are very prone to this and I think thats where they get their bad reputation.

:nono:

My friend had one and they thought they heard their kid screaming in the room with the dog. They ran in the room and it was the pit screaming because the kid was biting it's ear. He just sat there and let the kid do it.

And one of my friend's grandma's cousin knew this guy who worked for this dude who had a pitt... and I heard that dog ate 3 babies and a virgin every week just sustain energy (sometimes he would eat a monk or two.. but for pure entertainment)

weird.. the dog kinda looks like my boxer.. i wonder if the breeds are related.. heck i dunno

Yeah the term pitbull actually includes a lot of breeds, their both terriers so I wouldnt be surprised if they look the same.

btw this is the most expensive and rarest type of pitbulls. Their eyes are blue and their coats have a blue tint. Id kill for one!

So are you gonna have her ears cropped?

I have a friend who was given a 7 month old female Pit from a guy who had to move out quick or something and couldn't take the dog....she's a sweet heart..i'm thinking about adopting her.

Nah we like her ears the way they are heh, Id take the dog as long as she was raised well

Yeah she might not even be that old...she's pretty small. They named her Mommy because she's that sweet....He has 3 other Boxers and when they start playing rough, she either gets between them or just leaves altogether and won't fight them. He's also got 4 kids and they all like her. She's one of those lick your face dogs :rlaugh:

My uncle had one when lived in Detroit, nicest dog, afraid of everything. Harmed nobody.

My girlfriends neighbor had one, which attacked her Weimerheimer. Had the whole dog's back in its mouth, dragging it down the street. The poor Weimerheimer's nails were ground to nothing, and the amount of stitches it needed were uncountable. Luckly, her dad was there...he kicked the thing 9 or 10 times....nothing.....gave him an axe kick straight down on the head, and it let go...nothing hurt on the pit bull...just sat down. He is a police officer, so he told me next step was to shoot the dog.

Terrible situation because those dogs used to play together, and the thing turned out of nowhere. It also attcked one child and one dog earlier that year. That one needs to be put down. The damn owner is stupid, it was standing right there durin all those situations.

See that's the thing about Pits...everyone says they know someone who has or had one that was so sweet and so nice...

The fact is that they still have the ability to really rip someone apart if provoked. I guess almost any dog can really but it's the power of their jaws and the locking part that really scare me. I think we've decided to buy a puppy so i can raise it myself and make sure it's temperament is right.

They are cute dogs when they are young!!

Yes they can tear somebody up. The difference with their jaw muscles is they do not stop by the ears like normal dogs....the muscles go up behind the ears, up on their head and meet over the eyes. That is why they are "called lock jaw"...it doesn't lock, but they are super strong so that is the way it seems. Just be careful man, even if you raise them from a pup, they turn aggressive around 2 or 3 years old...most dog lovers give them up at 4 or 5 because they are too strong and too unpredictable.
