hey guys,
i know this has probably been brought up 1000 times but i just had some questions. im thinkin about selling both my cars and getting a 4.6. hopefully either a cobra or mach1 if i can find one if not just a 98 and up gt. anyway i had some questions
1. how responsive are they to mods? suspension and motor?
2. are they easy to work on? im used to my 5.0 never really had much experiance with the 4.6
3. mpg?
4. handling? im into autox and canyon carving how well can these cars be made to handle compaired to a 5.0?
anyway i know theres more but i cant think of them right now so if anyone has any thoughts/suggestions stuff for me to look for/stay away from that would be great. i know my way around a 5.0 but the 4.6's im still really new with
thanks again

Joel

Motor... not much unless you want to go F/I. Bolt on's can get you to about 300rwhp, but not much more. The blocks are much better than the 5.0's (good to 800+hp) but the stock rods go at much more than 400HP! The suspension is much like the Fox, and I think the body is stiffer.

They aren't all that bad. You can't throw parts at them without getting a good dyno tune, but they are smooth and easy to keep running tops. (99+ with cop's)
14-18 in town, 25-28+ highway

MM Makes lots of parts along with Griggs. You can go as far as your budget allows!
