I was in downtown Houston when I spotted this little gem. This guy OBVIOUSLY took a regular V6 Mustang and put Cobra badges on it. Talk about violating Mustang Man Law #1!!! Sorry for the crappy pics. They were taken by my camera phone and I was in a hurry because I didn't want any cops pull up wondering why I'm taking pictures of this car. Oh and that black beauty thats parked behind in the last pic is my baby :D

There are 2-3 of those around here. One even has bling bling 20's on it.

I took my GT emblems off and put V6 pony's on it, so sometimes when i pull next to V6's, i hear them telling their buddies "Yo, it's a V6 but he made it look like a GT"

Yup, because it would make perfect sense that i would spend all the money to add the GT scoops and bumpers and wheels and leave the pony emblems.

I saw some GT's with Cobra badges too. I'd still say that it's on the same level as a V6 with Cobra badges. The GT doesn't have the 4V engine to earn the snake.

kinda like the GT's with the saleen badges....

When I was shopping for a newer Stang a couple weeks ago I found a killer deal on a 98 GT. It was CLEAN! 41k, full Bassani exhaust (headers, x-pipe, mufflers) Anderson power pipe, 4.10's, MM street/strip suspension kit, 18" Cobra r's and Willwood brakes. All for only $5400! I just could not get past the Cobra hood, nose, tail and badges. Ruined a perfectly good GT.:nonono: If it still looked like a GT I would be driving it instead of my Cobra.
