i know there's the surging idle checklist, but i don't need a list that big because the car didn't surge before and the only things that have changed are i re-adjusted my roller rockers, i got a pro flow 75mm bullet mass air meter calibrated for 24# injectors, i put my bbk cold air back on with it because the guy i got it from on ebay said he ran it with a bbk cai, and i just put my freshly rebuilt transmission back in. The whole time my car was down i kept the neg on the battery undone. I'm thinking maybe the ecu just needs a few days to relearn everything and get used to the new parts? is this normal when switching mass air meters? i switched from an 80mm pmas velocity meter with the filter IN the engine compartment. oh and i 'clocked' the maf and it didn't change anything.

lol i just figured it was a bit much when most of the car stayed constant, only a few variables were changed, which narrowed it down a bit. The car's already running a bit better this morning, not surging near as bad, still is though. thank for the reply though, richker, if anyone responded, i knew you would. i'll check over the list.

Interesting ... that was HISSIN50'S contribution to the checklist - see the second post.

yeah i have an aftermarket iac from autozone and i had it on upside down for a while and it worked fine, but for some reason i decided to flip it back to right side up when i was putting my tranny in the other day. flipped it BACK upside down, cured my problem! thanks richker for all of your incredible knowledge, and hissin50 for your contribution to "the list". :)
