my car has surged untill it stalls every morning when it gets cold outside ever since i did my h/c/i install. now that I have my tweecer i would like to fix this. It surges untill it stalls about 5 times untill its warm, then it will stay running fine..what should i do?

Got a datalog and current tune we can look at?

Using CalEdit or BinaryEditor?

Go into your tables and look for "base_fuel_table_cold_enrichment_decay" or something similar. It will have numbers from around 0-5 in the table -- mostly between 0 and 1.5. Temporarily set it to all 0's to pull out added fuel at startup - see if that changes anything.

Add fuel in your cold start up menu. Not sure what its called, I use a PMS. I had the same problem and adding fuel in the cold comp menu fixed it all. Quick easy 30second fix :)

Thanks for your input here Mike :hail2:

I see it as having two advantages for the community ;)

1) It gives basic info on the why the workings of the PCM no longer
are able to deal with the mods

2) It gives help to those who tune with the PMS

Now having said that :)

I know more of you use the PMS :Word:
so
Your input in this forum would be helpful to other PMS self tuners :nice:
