my 02 GT was named "Ellie" since she was a throwback of "Eleanor" AKA GT500E from Gone in 60 Seconds. i couldnt name her Eleanor since she wasnt really an actual 67 "E" code, but since she was pretty much heart and soul, she got a shorter version.

my current 03 Redfire Cobra's name is Ruby. everyone else, however, refers to her as "****en fast" or "stupid fast" or "wtf do you need that kind of power for the street for?"

i also had a 1991 Eclipse GSX named "Gixxie". had to sell her to get back into Ruby, which means sometime this year (2008) i will once again have a Gixxie.

Never named one, but my wife has. She called her 92 GT Betsy, and now her o2 GT is Eleanor. Has nothing to do with the movie, Gone in 60 Seconds, just something she came up with when she bought it and it stuck. She has tried to name my Lightning but nothing has stuck.

Spectre is my ride's name, and when I get the blower on, it's getting a custom plate that says "blwn2v" because it's going to get a shaker and Boss/Mach inspired styling, and I want everyone to know what she really is...
