Met the girl of my dreams today

Yes Andy, got the card; Sue showed it to me and then stuck it on the fridge door. :nice:
Thanks. :D

Sorry, Dan, no big updates here.... Other than the dull throbbing behind my eyes every time my heart beats. Too much New Years Eve and I guess I'm getting to old to drink with the youngsters without eating something first.
Actually I think it was that 6th shot of Wild Turkey 101 that laid me low - couldn't have been all the Killians and Jack I had before that......

No problem!

Heather has a vicious case of the flu, she has been laid up for the last 4 days, I hope she gets better soon, She told me as soon as she gets better we can go out on a date my choice, what i have decided to go with is Timberline steak house, and a movie National Treasure 2. Should be fun. We have booked our honey moon

At the Daytona Beach Hilton Beach Ocean Walk Village from the 22nd of June to the 26th of June, After we leave Daytona we are staying the night in Orlando and doing some sight seeing then on the 27th we catch a flight back to Wichita. I havent booked the hotel for Orlando or the flights but i do have the hotel in Daytona booked. We want to rent a car, i need to do some research to see if they offer a Shelby as a hertz rental. LETS See what else as far as updates, well we are beginning to think that we would like to move to another town, possibly one that is a littler smaller, and with more trees and hunting i was thinking some place in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, something like that. I might look at some jobs online today and see what i can find. Thats about all the updates i have for now. Happy New YEAR!!!!

Andy; I'd make "chamber of commerce" noises at you; but you got me on one point.....

We're starting to get more business industry in the neighborhood (more than just the seasonal vegetable guys); and there's getting to be some serious call for IPv6 jocks as well as Linux mavens.

Whitetail, mulies and even a few bighorn in the mountains 40-50 miles upriver; some of the wildest birding (whitewing and mourning dove and Gambrel quail) down here on the flats. Largemouth, smallmouth and some pretty ornery flathead and channel catfish (freshwater sharks... when you hook them they get really pizzed); if you wanna drop a line in the water. Speaking of water, Martinez Lake (on the Colorado) has room for many more pirate flags! And you only put your boat up for about 3-4 months out of the year :nice:

But trees.... :nonono: Not so many trees around here; especially since the citrus guys have figured out that they can make some serious bank (even in the current "market adjustment") by knocking down groves and planting housing developments.
Another :nonono:

Right now I have no idea where we want to go, I have a couple months to decide before i have to sign another lease for my apt/I have been considering leasing a house with a garage instead of and apartment and renting a storage unit. But my lease is not up till may. That buys me some time. But AZ sounds kinda nice, Hot summers warm winters, :nice:

Hey, guys, (Not including Dad...) Wanna come out here and beat up a kid for me?

In gym class we're playing badminton. My friend Dani and I had our court, and it was one out of four and the center of the gym. She and I play against one another and with a lot of vigor, heh, we're really into it. So this kid, Mike, comes up behind me and it continues as such:

Mike: Hey, get off the court, we wanna play.
D: *Turns around.* No, go play on one of the other courts. We were here and we're in the middle of a game.
Mike: No, women aren't allowed to play. So just shut up, you'll be dating me in five years. So go do something like, go cook something.
D: *Gets pissed off and...* This is where it gets good.... *...Walks up behind Mike and puts the badmiton raquet in front of his neck and pulls it back, holding both ends of the raquet so it'd strangle him. I didn't push it all the way in, so he could still breathe.* F*** off... *Lets go and goes back to playing with Dani.
Mike: *Looks at the other guys and walks around the other side where Dani is.* C'mon, just get off the court, go a play with those girls over there.
Dani: No, cocks. You go somewhere else.
D: *Raquet on the floor ready to slug this kid in the face.*
Dani: *Proceeds to shove the end of her raquet up Mike's ass.*
Mike: WTF?
Dani: C'mon, D, lets go play with the others.
*D and Dani go and play with the others. D's still pissed and tells the gym teacher, who is a really cool guy, abotu what Mike said. The gym teacher is a bit scared at how pissed D is and makes them all appologize.*

So you can come out here and beat him up, and then I'll give everyone dinner and Dad will give Cobra rides. It'll be great!

Being the great Dad that I am, I first recommended to her that beating up another classmate is not the best method, and it's a good thing she took it to the teacher after she went as far as she did. She got the message across, and hopefully this boy will now think twice before trying to prove his "manliness".

Just wait Andy & Heather.......

Just responding to stuff:

cheapie: I tried that; but.......
1.) Jessica (Dee's age) still remembers when I was forced (at 1:00 AM) to get out of my nice warm bed, put on some pants and my leather jacket (nothing -at all- else) grab my "Home Defense" Mossberg 12ga, go out to the front porch; and "shake-rack" said Mossberg (had a Bud Light can in the other hand) to emphasize my statement that, "I've already told you it's time to go home, BOY!" to the 16-yr-old that was sniffing around then-13-yr-old Tink. Kid disappeared, presumably to his house across the street. (I didn't have my glasses on, so I couldn't really see after he hit the sidewalk in front of our house). Tink just glared at me and went inside. In my defense, both the shotgun and the beer can were both empty (Do you think I'm stupid enough to take a loaded shotgun to a minor, even if he was on my property after I asked him to leave???)!!! Kid also never came back; and the family moved out of their rented house shortly thereafter......
After all that, now Jessie just invites "the man" over to meet me; and I have to put on the "Buford T Justice" redneck at to "soften them up" for my eventual Bill Engvaald "I ain't afraid to go back to prison" statement.

2.)Andy:
1.) Fritz was last reported to be working every day/night -including both holidays- through tonight or tomorrow night, then he was going to find out if Mary still loved him; so it may be a while before he gets on this page! :p
2.) Pray you have no girl-children! Else you will be chagrined to find that they'll grow up to be like Heather (in both "form" and personality); and all the boys "sniffin' around" them will be just little High School versions of YOU!
Think about it.

And that's all I have time to say for now....... Jessie brought home an "R.J." (handsome little Bastige, too); and I think it's time I wrapped another Killian's in my PRCA 2007 coozie and go play up the Redneck 'tude. :D
