Winter Blues

Find another hobby! I assume your car is put away? Find something else to do as Winter goes by verryyyy slowly with no Mustang! What I find helps is planning mods for the car, and ordering stuff for it over the Winter. Keeps you excited, and into the hobby.

I drive my stang in the snow... Blizzaks ftw!

wash your car after every snow storm and don't tailgate and you just reduced the only 2 serious risks... rust and rock chips.

Try living here in interior Alaska! lol. We get our first snow in September and have temps as low as 50 and 60 below zero! Our Summer is only 4 months long then we go straight into winter :(. Not to mention it's dark almost 24 / 7 in the winter. But its daylight 24/7 in summer! Air force makes me work out side too! Blah!

+1 and I also drive thru the winter though I would perfer not to but she is my DD.

I would love to keep buying parts for the car. Sometimes my wallet just doesn't support the funds. Seems like I have already bought the "cheap" things that I can. I am also a woman, so I don't always have the muscle it takes to do everything myself. It's hard convincing my husband to have the same enthusiasim about the mustang that I have! I just go out in the garage and detail it....a lot :) Longing for the next time I'l l be able to get her out for a spin.

i miss my car sooooo much!!!

i do work on it every week or so. i have only driven it once since july and that was to remove the engine in Oct. i'm STILL waiting on having my heads ported. once that is finished it will only be a matter of weeks till it is running again.

i buy parts for it to keep me going. i have almost run out of engine stuff to buy so now i'm moving to other parts of the car.

the next big thing i cant wait for is picking up my 03 cobra seats in Feb for only $500:D

its going to be like driving a totally different car when i get it back though

i have the same problem in ny but the winters arent as bad...shes hibernating(sp?) for the winter and i just hate lookin at her in the garge almost everyday so once or twice a week i sit in her and just let her warm up...other than that i drive my friends stang everyonce in awhile ...i took up quading in the last year so thats my hobby for the winter its a blast in the snow

+2 I havent lived here long enough to know weather or not it snows (I doubt it) but it gets cold enough to freeze. Its 32 out right now and supposed to be low 20s tonight and tomorrow morning. I am surrounded by bridges and they ALL ice over, scary stuff in a Stang, especially since I have spent my whole driving life in Maui where it only snows once every 4 years:D
