Got my MGW installed last night

Only took an hour. After looking at the how-to on here and a couple of other threads, I dont understand why everyone was taking the console off. All you needed for the front two bolts on the boot cover was an 8mm wrench. :shrug:

Anyways, I love the shifter. The throws are about 1/3 as long as they were when stock and third is a breeze. :)
 
I love my shifter, its 100x more smoother than the stock piece.

Heres a pic of mine, diff. shift boot and knob are on the way.

what'd ya do on that, just smash the boot in between the post and handle on the shifter or did you have to cut it a little bit. i wanted to do that with mine but i didn't want to cut my boot up

Cut the boot..it already had a tear in the side.

New leather one is on the way from redline and a knob from MGW.
