ok here is my problem. My 95 GT has been sitting for about a month or so, I go to start and it has a dead battery, no prob. I jump it and it starts right up. It idles for about 5-10 munutes then starts reving up and down and dies. I go to fire it back up and all my gauges are crazy, and it won't do anything. I also noticed the check engine and the light beside it are on really dim when the key is off and out. Any ideas??????Please help.....

It is extremely hard on an alternator when it has to always take care of a low battery and when your car is dead you should always give your battery a good charge and not make the alternator do all the work. To make sure it is your alternator take a multimeter and check your alternator as well as your battery with the car running.

could be loose connections on the battery. so the battery is not actually taking a charger when the car is running so when you shut it off its still dead. It take aprox 15 min for your alt to charger the battery.
