Sucky Ryan. Sorry to hear that. Have you gone to the damn doctor yet? Seriously. My 1st Stang got totalled when a ricer cut in front of me and I t-boned him at about 50MPH. My **** was totaled. Yours IS fixable, but if you want to move on to a roller, do it.

I agree on getting a 5-speed 4cyl roller and just dropping the the engine and rear end in. The 4cyl T-5 tranny is decent enough until you have the funds to spring for a tremmec or a T-56 (which is what everybody should do).
 
lol, i was slowly gaining respect for you for building up your car now I have lost it all again. That car is EASILY fixable, my car got hit on the opposite corner 3x as bad and i put it on the frame rack just in case, barely even moved. If you're gunna crush that car because it needs a new fender/bumper skin then you sir are a lazy SOB. lol

The damn thing isnt even painted! You could have that fixed by the end of the weekend.
 
Ryan , Do go to the Dr. When I got Tboned I had numbness. I later found out that my spine go tweeked and is slighty mis alined enough to pinch nerves and cause the numbness.

I had already settled with the ins, company. Then i found out. It was too late.

Get a check up. It may be nothing but make sure.

Saturday I will go to the doctor...im really starting to feel it through my back. :( this sucks on so many damn levels.
 
Alot of stangs out there. When you have money in hand start looking. The last one I posted looks nice.
 
Ryan that really sucks about your ride getting screwed up - I see you have put a lot of work into her.

First thing get checked out by a DR. I was rear ended in my Trailblazer a couple years ago and when my head went back I went off the side of the headrest and twisted it good. It was sore but I thought nothing of it. I found out later after the deal was done that the ****** tweeked my neck out of alignment - I had to go for 2 months to PT to get it back in shape from the muscle damage that I didn't even think about.

Second - do whatever you feel is right - if you want to pick up a new hatch and swap everything over do it. But she is far from being down for the count so if you want to save her so you can finish what you set out to do than do it - you may come out better than you were after all this.

Good luck and keep us posted - but get to a DR.
 
well there cutting me a check for $2,764.37 and not totaling it out.

tomm im going to look at a few stangs..( that red hatch is one of them ) a 2000 V6 5 speed a explorer and a white LX hatch roller..

You get to keep the car? Blessing in disguise. Now you have the money to paint the car. The damage looks minimal. Remember, it's not like these bodies and panels were like perfectly straight arrows from factory. I say fix it! Sure you can get a hatch, but what's cooler than a convertible?:nice:

Did you call the guy with the red hatch to be sure he has it? I wouldnt wait. It looks nice and if you wait someone will ****** it up. If you go today and look at it and want it give them a $50 deposit to hold it.

the verts not getting fixed. ill end up selling it as it is as hard as it willl be to do. most likely ill end up with a newer v6 mustang or an explorer.
 
Once you've had all 8, 6 wond do it and you'll be back into thinking about a swap

well if everything gose as planed this summer the 86 GT will become mine when my dad buys a new GT vert. then i would have no need for two 5.0s....but who knows...depends on alot of factors.. im not going to rush into buying anything till ive found something ill be 100% happy with as a DD.
 
you were complaining about gas a month ago and now you are looking at an explorer? I cant think of many vehicles that get worse mileage than them.
