Anyone else use the kitchen table as a workbench?

I have a bunch of stuff laid out on the table, was just making sure I have all the gaskets and stuff I need and that everything fits.

My wife says to me today "When are you going to move that engine block off the kitchen table?!"

I have a workbench in the garage, but it's cold out and the light is better in the house.

Anyone else do this?

I have an old desk that i've had since i was about 9 years old that i still use to this day for everything from model buidling to small engine work to painting/drawing. I don't even own a kitchen table.

I use my bathtub to clean engine parts, and my GF gets HELLA pissed. Then the house smells like foamy engine brite for hours. At least I don't mind it though.

I guess i'm a sissy man. I get upset if there is any grease of spec of dirt anywhere in my apartment....and I live alone!!

I don't even eat on my own kitchen table...it smudges the glass and i hate cleaning it

Still gotta finish th A/C install, just too lazy ......and its been cold.....ish.
Cheep some assembly required table anyway so a 5.0 plenum would prolly break it. My kitten that cant even make the bathroom scale needle move makes the table shake

lol i dont use the kitchen table, my mom would kill me. i just use up any other spot i can find. floor, against the wall, room, garage, in her trunk, in my trunk. basically anywhere that will fit

Contrary to popular belief, a well ported stock lower makes damn good power....actually make MORE power from idle to about 4,400 RPMS than a Cobra intake. From about 4,400-6,000 RPMS the Cobra will make slightly more.

This is a daily driver so I'm all about the low end torque for fun around town. Plus I'm going for more of a sleeper car (stock wheels, no appearance mods, no obnoxious exhaust) so the stock look is what I want.
