Adjustable Panhard Bar Installed

The thing I don't like about the Steeda APB is that you have to loosen the driver side bolt(ends)and drop the passenger side out of the bracket to make adjustments:mad: The passenger side bracket makes it next to impossible to get any kind of wrench up there to loosen the nut so you can twist the bar, the driver side is out in the open. I had to readjust mine last week before taking her drag racing as it wasn't centered exactly the first time due to doing it on a gravel driveway. I'm unable to measure mine to the wheel as my tires are much wider than the rim and it bows the string out. I went by how much the string was contacting the tire on both sides.

Kooldawg, you are right about not real user friendly in making adjustments on the passenger side. But what I did when I first set the length to the same length as the stock bar is I un-screwed both ends the same amount to get to the stock length. Once it was installed in the car, I could twist the bar to the right and left according to how much was needed. Once I got it to where I wanted it, I added some blue loctite and reached up into the passenger side bracket with a pair of pliers and tightened the nut the best I could. Then I went to the drivers side, added loctite and fully tightened the nut. Perhaps you did the same thing, just thought this seemed to work pretty good for me.

I did it pretty much the same as you, except for the pliers reaching up in the passenger side. I dropped mine back down and used a wrench. I did loctite both sides as well.
