Keep em comin man. I didn't start my 5 liter swap til May 26th, 2006, so I was sweating bullets hoping to get body and paint and interior done by Woodward that year. It was completelty finished on July 14th, 2006. Then I noticed it needed an oil pan gasket, and a transmission rebuild kit!!! I was so down in spirits. But me and my Dad pulled all of it apart in one night. He buttoned up the pan the enxt night, and the trans about 4 later when it was finished from the rebuild shop. So, really July 23-24th it was done. Then I did the 5 lug swap in early August and drove it til November.

You look like you'll have it done sooner than I had mine done.

I'll be sitting here waiting for the painting pics!! Hell yeah man....you'll have that car done in no time! Once it's painted, you will have twice the motivation to finish it as you have right now!!:nice:

You're painting it black right? I HIGHLY recommend a sealer. This will lock in any sanding scratches, so when you lay your paint, it will lay even flatter than ever. It also locks out any paint/clear shrikage. My black notch shrunk in a couple spots here and there because I did not use sealer. When I painted my friends black 90 GT, I used a sealer, and his paint/clear as NOT shrunk at all. It is worth the extra 40-60 dollars, it is worth the extra 10 minutes it takes to mix/spray it, and it's worth the 20 minutes drying time before your base coat. It will save you hours worth of wetsanding later.:nice: :nice:

This is what I used if you're interested. All the directions are here. Be very careful spraying it. It runs very easy, so keep your distance, and don't spray it real "Wet" , just be even, and try not to overlap it very much, because it will take off on you. I also used Nason paint, and Dupont Clear.
