I think my car handles good enough with just springs...

If I want to hook start hooking better on street tires then I will put my money into suspension.

1 autocross event I ran my times were only a second behind a modded 03/04 Cobra. And yes, the driver was very experienced.

but what i would do is.........., do the pi swap to let the nitrous breathe a little better since you already have motor and continue spraying the non pi block until that retires. and in the meantime build up the 03 short block and just switch blocks and go with a bigger shot.

I am also all for building up the suspension to get all your power you already have to the wheels, but i would also just build the 03 motor (forged), and up the spray. I'm a fan of nitrous because you DON'T have to use it all the time. You can whore someone n/a if you want and just use the nitrous when you want so if you do beat someone they can't say "well of course you won, you have a supercharger/turbo." That way if they want motor to motor, thats what they get. Plus keep in mind gas prices with forced induction are gonna suck.

Sounds great. But good luck finding FRPP heads which actually arn't PI, but flow better

So basically a sprayed PI swap? That's a fun ride for sure.
Remeber you'll need
Gaskets: valve covers, intake, main seal, 3 timing cover
two heat stages cooler plugs
Alternator Bracket
Coolant pipe/hose to go over intake manifold

I still think you should find a nice used set of PI heads, get them cleaned up, throw some oversized valves at em and then consider transmission mods. And if you havent got a B&M tranny cooler add that to the list asap

pi intake/cams (if you dont have them) and a mongoose kit(around 4k) or a used kit (around 2500) and then suspension if you have anything left over, u can keep the spray aswell... you dont need to go pi, u just need to get blown

neg, i could have a used blower setup done for 2k complete without the tune, a new one will cost 4k or more easily. saving 2k is ALOT more then just a couple hundred
