I have a set of 15inch V6 OEM wheels that are not in use. They came with 205/65/16 tires.
They are the waffle style from 2001.
These are the wheels(Not my car)

I currently drive my Bullitt as my daily driver and have 315 street tires with deep dish bullitts on it. They don't hook that great at the track.
I was thinking of getting some MT ET Street tires to run at the track!

What do you guys think?! Anyone ever seen or done this??? What size should I use?
Do you think that the first one on this list would fit??

MT's are pretty good. I had a pair for a while. They hook great. Just remember to lower that air pressure at the track(obviously). I only had mine a little while before a curb took a bite out of them but they sure were nice an sticky.

I have two of the same wheels for my 5.0. My intention is to put a set of DR's on them as well.

But, they are 15x7 which limits you to tire width. I beleive the widest you can go is a 275.

Thanks for the quick answers...

I am planning on using the ET Street (NON-RADIAL)
I beleive the smallest ones are 255s.....
Do you think the stock axles could brake???
I don't have any power adders....
Thanks!

Yes, I have 99-04 15" V6 wheels that are currently hosting 275/60/15 BFG drag radials.

It works great. Those wheels are light so it will help offset a heavy tire.

I would NOT reccomend going over a 275 width as those wheels are narrow like Mustang5L5 mentioned.
