so by this next tax season i should have about $8000 saved up for the car,
and so i would like to hear some opinions of which route i should take, here are a few differnt things i have been thinking of

dohc build:teskid block, cobra rotating assembly minus domed pistons to get a
comp ratio of about 11:1,ported tumble port heads, crower cams, and a sullivan intake, obviously i will need more money for this set up and more parts.

sohc build:stage 3 pi heads,cams,trickflow intake, long tubes,tremec t56,4.10s,and a 100 shot of n20

or hp twin turbo kit, obviously i would gain more power this way but there is something to be said about n/a power from a small displacement v-8.

i would love to run low 12s - high 11s on slicks i am new to mod motors but not to mustangs,as far as power goes i dont realy know how much hp a 32 valve like i wanto build would make:shrug:.i know the turbo set up would be around 400-450ish rwhp on low boost and pi swap would be around 325-350rwhp.
so basicly im looking for the best bang for the buck with good longevity
thanks joe

Ok the real question is are you going with the turbo kit or do you want to stay all motor? Then you can decide whether to go the 2v or 4v route. The 4v route will be a lot more expensive and be worth around 50rwhp more without making it non-streetable.

I don't know if you are talking to me...but I've thought of that. Nitrous, or a KB. Nitrous is cheaper, but you don't get the "whine" from nitrous...hehe.:D

I wasn't directing it toward you, but its not bad advice in my opinion...:D

Nothing wrong with nitrous either.

Especially a hidden install, that way when you demolish your competition and they can't figure out why, you just tell them its basically stock with just intake and exhaust... should have bought a Ford...:nice:

if its only gonna be about 50 hp more i can make that up with a small shot of giggle juice.i would go either way na or turbo,i just want to have some fun and run around
low 12s,streetability isint to much of a concern,i wont drive in the screwed up seattle traffic,my turbo coupe wasint to streetable and i still drove it alot and had fun.so basicly i was wondering which way i would be better off considering
thanks joe

To get the real big power out of the 4v's, you have to rev them to 7500+. 2v's have a lot more power under the curve and useable power at lower RPMs.

The 4v will make more power either way.
