Used SLP catback. whats it worth guys?

well, thru some trading i've ended up with a used SLP catback for 94-97/98 GTs. pretty sure its the loudmouth I's. i have everything minus the flow tubes. i cleaned it all up and polished the tips, seems to be in very good shape.

Id say $250ish at most if you found the right person. I got my SLP LM II catback for $125 but that was because the forums the guy posted it for sale on mostly consisted of people who drove VWs and Subarus. He was orignally asking like $200 flat for it but no body relpied so by the time I saw it he was down to $125 firm. Brand new it costs about $470 on american muscle AND this guy threw in an x pipe with it as well which was about another $150 brand new.

i figured it would be between 2 and 250. kinda what i expected. if i sell it local, i could make more. flow tubes are cheap at a muffler shop and its still in nice shape. id say its worth 225

Throw it on Ebay. You will be surprised on what you can get for it. Heck, I sold a pair of SLP powerflo mufflers on Ebay and got $225. Just the mufflers.

Stainless Steel lasts for a LONG time. if theyre not Cats they can go for more than 250 if theyre cleaned up nice n good

im a ebayin' fool. you're right, sometimes ebay does bring the best out of things. i guess since it is stainless, it may bring more cash - as mentioned above.

personally, i like the loudmouth II's better ( i need to check the part # and see for sure what i have ) but the Loudmouth I's sound pretty good with the cats still on. both sound better on a 4.6 car rather than a 5.0 IMO.
