So over the weekend my friends and I went to the cubs game in Cinncinati. On the way home i am traveling through Indiana in a construction zone. I'm in the lane that has the asphalt torn up and don't have a chance to get over because of traffic, so i just stayed in the lane and didn't try to jump over. I see the end of the construction coming so i figured good this is about over, well where the construction company had stopped tearing up asphalt, they didn't put any signs to warn of a huge bump and left a huge curb. I'm talkin 4 to 5 in curb that comes up rather quickly. Anyways, I hit it a 45 and it ends up trashing two rims, front alignment, 2 tires, and i still don't know yet but possibly screwed up my rear end. As far as i know they are going to reimburse me, i just have to keep track of all my spendings. Ford quoted me $1400 in damages to start
and may go higher. So i said screw that and bought a set of 04 chrome oem cobra rims and tires for $600, and then i have to have me rear end checked out after they are installed. I just got my car running a month ago after a trans rebuild and now its going to be down another month at least. This sucks!
