Memphis Tn.
ok so i talked to a few of you guys when i had a failsafe engine mode come on i mentioned that i had just bought the car last friday and had to take back the next day to have the throttle body replace well i had to take it back AGAIN!! it was leaking radiator fluid everwhere when i got home from work.. i was in no way beating on the car on the ride home either i'm beginning to really wonder about this car.. 15000 miles and as soon as i get it i have the replace the throttle body, fix a powersteering fitting that was leakin and now its in the service dept again because of the fluid leakin.. im so pissed off and i really don't know what to do??

dosent that qualify as a lemon?

also some, and i stress the some. dealerships have a 3 days no questions asked policy, that you can just return the vehicle, i dont know if your past 3 days yet though. and if they are nice enough they will do it a few days later as well

of coarse they are fixing it for free i'd like to hear them ask for money i guess my concern is what else is gonna go wrong a week from now a month maybe.. they are gonna say that is my fault.. i love the car itself im just kinda worried about the overall picture i guess.. im not gonna pay 350 a month for a car thats in the shop half of the time :(

What dealership did you get it at? I have been shopping for a '05 up GT in Memphis lately too, I live just across the river. I test drove one at Dobbsm on Mt. Moriah about 2 weeks ago that had 15K on it but it had already been modded so I passed.

it was at country ford in southaven ms it had like 14800 when i drove it was gray with red leather and black interior with the shaker 1000 system it is stock though i think the motor looks stock anyway there were some steeda billiet nobs on the interior??

In my state a Lemon has to be in for the same reason 3 Times. not always the exact problem,
but for example, suspension... springs on time, shocks the next time, sway bars for the 3rd visit. The suspension would be a "lemon"

The problem with buying a used performance car with 15,000 on it is that you have no idea how bad the previous owner THRASHED it, especially once he decided to trade it in!

May be a case of "Let the buyer beware". At least you have a warranty to fix the thrashing.
