here is my most recent race. this one i started 2nd in class and 7th over all. only because abd 12 people that would have starting infront of me did not finish the morning race which sets the final race starting positions, scca race oct 2008 PIR group H- Video

i need more speed down the straights. well i guess the new motor will help with that instead of the current motor and just turned 22years old and has 311,000 miles on it about 11,000 of which is on the race track or to the race track

A little more juice and you'd have stayed up front. The way you kept re-passing in the twisties made most of the others look like a bunch of drag racers that got lost on the way to the strip. You are gonna kick ass with a new motor.

suspension mods are N.A.S.A.'s spec e30 race springs, stock replacement shocks. non adjustable camber plates , m3 front control arm bushing . rear polyurethane control arm bushing. i will have the spec e30 shock for next year so ill be even faster though the corners. all suspension parts so far are about 500$ just the spec shocks are another 350$. my motor has about 110whp next years should have about 140whp. and im helping a friend build one were shooting for 150whp and 200wtq . my friends current motor has 126 whp and 171wtq . maybe ill finish my mustang to a race car some day and get some vid of that one. it (mustang) just consumes so much tire and brakes on the track its just not high on my list

Nov 1st is the dead line for submitting the proposal to ICSCC for American Iron.

To all racers,

It's time to make your intentions known and sign on the bottom line.
We have to have a proposal and "intent to run" sign-up sheet before the ICSCC board before Nov 1.
I will submit the proposal, rules and sign-up sheets to the E-board.

After speaking with the Conference president it was made known that if we request an AI run group, but then don't fulfill the required 2.5 cars average over the length of the first season, no year end points will be awarded. If we fail to garner 2.5 cars again the next year the class will be dropped and we will have a very difficult time getting Conference to consider this class again.

A successful outing the first year will net us a sanctioned class.

In conversation with Conference they are willing to let an email (to me) suffice as a signed "intent to run".
We need at least 5 "intent to run" sheets before a run group solicitation can be made.
Please note that you MUST have a current SCCA, NASA, CACC or ICSCC sanctioned club license for 2008 to complete an "intent to run".

So let's try and make it successful by making sure you intend to run next year. Please do not sign up if you don't intend to run or are in a situation where that looks doubtful. I'd rather wait one more year and get enough people that will run than have this effort fail.

The "intend to run" email to me should state the following (and be to me by no later than Oct 31):

I understand that the car must meet all NASA GCRs, all NASA AI rules, as well as all applicable ICSCC rules.
I also understand that the class must average 2.5 cars per race over the season to be sanctioned for the next year."
