Still bitter about that one GIANT loss, are we?:D

No b/c no other team in the NFL has accomplished as much this decade as the New England Patriots and win or lose the superbowl they are still the dominant team of the decade. With the Giants losing to the Eagles next week it will shut down a back to back Super Bowl win for the Giants, something that only the Patriots have done this decade.

Your scared of the Eagles b/c you know they are going to kick the Giants ass next week and everyone on the Giants team knows it too.

Been saying it alllllllll year long.....Watch out for the Eagles.

Eagles take it. Next victim ..... The New York Giants, the run stops here.

This is the kinda smack you were talking last year and we all know hat happened. :D

Yes i am worried.. BUT if the Giants play THEIR game, they should take care of the Eagles.. If they start making mistakes and playing like crap, then yes Eagles win.

1. You're changing the subject.
2. The decade is not over yet.
3. If they're so dominant, why aren't they in the playoffs?
4. Didn't they get caught cheating? Perhaps they wouldn't accomplish what they did if they didn't have the unfair advantage, hmmm?

DUH REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks MR Obvious

Do you have any further insightful knowledge you can share w/ me like having to take off your shoes before you take your pants off

Well I could start you out on a basic logic course, since you seem to recognize that division champs are locks for the playoffs but at the same time they "don't deserve" to go.

Let me know a date and time to get started. Someone else will have to handle your remedial math though, I hate that crap.

Waiting for the Brady card at any minute :stirpot: . . . .

If I were allowed to choose who the Steelers got to play it would have been SD, not that SD is a push over but...The Colts are really good, I don't want them to play BAL even though they've beat them twice that team is scary. I didn't want to play Miami because that Wildcat stuff works pretty well, it's really fun to watch as long as your team isn't facing it. So I guess things couldn't have turned out better so far.:)

PA Superbowl anyone?

1. Discussing football in a football thread, seems pretty relevant to me.

2. The Giants would have to win the super bowl this year and the next 2 years to be the most dominet team this decade. The patriots are 2 super bowls up on everyone else that has one this decade and only 3 Superbowl's left this decade. Id say the cards are heavily stacked in their favor to go down as the most dominant team this decade.

3. They are not in b/c of mass injuries across the board and still had an 11-5 season, that's damn respectful for what they had to work with. Im sure there are lots of teams would be ecstatic to be 11-5 also considering the best record on the NFL was 13-3. They lost some games early on and mid way that cost them the chance to make the playoffs.

4. They got caught doing something that's been going on in the NFL for a very long time. An investigation was done the punishment was given. The allegations of taped rams practice's before the Superbowl turned out to be false. They got caught taping the jets I seriously doubt that had anything to do w/ them wining 3 super bowls and Brady throwing 50 TD's

5. Who the hell are you anyway to not post anything all season long then all of a sudden show up for some unknown reason.

Of course. Probably made worse by the way he ran his mouth all last year only for his team to pull one of the biggest choke jobs in NFL history.

kinda like how you ran your mouth about the Broncos and swung off cutlers nuts all year long only to have them blow it at the end and not even make the playoffs. They let the 4-8 Chargers mount a comeback and take the division.

This is the kinda smack you were talking last year and we all know hat happened. :D

That's the same stuff I say every year, I dont base my next years football posts on what happened the previous year. Ive been here for every single NFL football thread for the entire year every year. No one else that has posted in this thread this year can say the same thing and the manner of my posts has never changed over the years.

Black has been here every year but he was missing for most of the season

Neither them or the broncos deserve to go b/c both teams are $hit, then again we get that w/ a few teams ever year that are not play off caliber teams but they still made it in.

I'm well aware of how the playoff system works but since you seem to be so smart on such a wide varity of topics and Im apparently clueless why dont you post up some instructions for me on how to pump gas.

Funny how you keep harping on that, yet give your Pats a pass because of their injuries just a few posts earlier. I'm not sure what your injured reserve looked like at the end of the season, but IIRC Denver put 17 players on IR including 7 running backs. That's also not counting players like DJ Williams, Champ Bailey, Tony Scheffler and Nate Webster, who all missed significant amounts of time with injuries.

As a team, the Broncos underachieved a little down the stretch, but that can only be expected from an extraordinarily young team depleted by injuries.

Oh, and Jay Cutler had a great season. He set team records for passing yards and completions, passing yards were 1st in AFC and 3rd in NFL. He's also going to the Pro Bowl. :nice:

Translation: "I am nothing if not consistent in acting like an ass"

They won their division, they deserve to go. And that **** Chargers team beat the Colts.

Well if you're using hot air for fuel, just wrap your lips firmly around the gas tank opening and blow, then you're good to go. :flag:

That's b/c from the very first post in this thread you came off as a complete moron and you have done nothing over 16 weeks of football but prove that.

Getting a wee bit testy there, aren't ya buddy? :rlaugh:

I don't think, after the 2007 debacle, have any room to be telling anyone they acted like a moron.

Just remember, your Patriots are sitting at home watching the playoffs just like my Broncos, and my Broncos weren't coming off an undefeated regular season and Super Bowl berth. :nice:

OHHH BOYYY here we go with the ignorance

Do you really want to go down that road? read last years NFL thread picking apart spygate is one of my favorite pastimes.

So lets go I am ready, you tell me how exactly did the patriots gain a unfair advantage during the "spygate" years when I can prove many NFL teams for years were doing the exact same thing.. In last years NFL thread I link a article from the 1990's talking about this, and in that article they mention this was going on from the 1970's

Plus since it's not illegal to tape the other teams signals I fail to see how it's cheating, all they did wrong was tape from a area that the coaching staff could access during the course of the same game the tape was filmed in..

Also nobody has shown a feasible method of breaking down the films for use in the same game it was filmed in, there is just not enough time while the game is in progress ( and that is the only way the film would be cheating)

Plus to further show that I am right on that point when matt walsh was interviewed by goodell and described what he did when he was the one to tape the signals he stated that he had the tapes in his possession until after the game was over and then the tapes was handed over to his superior.. never was the tape in possesion of bill belechick or any other member of the football staff during the course of the same game it was taken in.

That during the course of the same game it was taken in is very very very important since that is the only thing that would make it cheating...

Even many lawyers that have looked at the NFL rules on this subject have said the rule is very confusing and can be taken to mean anything that you want it too mean and would not hold up in court if the NFL had a real legal process.. to make it simple belchick could have misunderstood the rule..

DO I think he misunderstood the rule.. NO ... I think belichick was being a ******* and he has done that a lot in the past, he is like a spoiled little kid and when he thinks a rule is stupid he just can't help himself he has to flaunt it. and in this case it bit him in the ass, in a unfair way but he had it coming.

kind of like this line of thinking " I am the great belichick wearer of the magic hoodie how dare does this noob know nothing commish send me this trash memo about BS, this has been going on for years and everybody will ignore it like in the past F him, he wont be in canton like me the great belichick"

I have personally read as much of the rule as I could find and found it highly confusing and it could mean anything.. there is stuff in there about 3 walls and a roof, what counts as the playing field etc. depending on what rule you read on the subject you can get a different meaning out of it.

I think belichick was wrong and stupid for challenging goodell and the NFL .. is he a cheater... NO and anybody who does not understand that needs to stop being a fraud. Plus anybody who tries to say they would not have won three SB's without videotaping signals that ANYBODY WITH A BRAIN KNOWS WILL BE CHANGED BY THE NEXT GAME is a idiot, a fool a moron and should be forever banned from talking football on stangnet and should IRL have a sex change since man card rights should be revoked.

had he known the media would spin this so far out of control that it would damage his legacy I doubt he would have done it, but he did and he has to live with that now and nothing can be done about it in the mainstream media..

So do you really want to argue this subject with me? I spent a lot of time last year looking up stuff on this i can go on for 15-20 pages.

Better yet start a side thread and I will join you there to argue this, out of respect to others so they can talk playoff football I think we should take this to a separate thread

BTW one last little thing I forgot..

You want to pick on redline about one GIANT loss last year.. Ok just answer this when was the last time your team was even in the SB? I remember the chargers being there, it was a long time ago.. could still buy new 5.0 mustangs back then, internet was still very new... No stangnet NFL thread back then for you to post in then since SN was still a few years away.

:nice:

Your broncos also did not loose one of the greatest players ever to play the game in the first game.. plus they also had other lesser injuries all teams suffer through the season but the brady injury is franchise changing if he does not come back.

some can can try to downplay that but it is what it is.. some people are just not smart or hate so much they will even make fools of them selfs making retarded statements like " loosing brady made no difference" or " matt cassel is not a dropoff" anybody who says it's only one guy or try to point out how cassel is good please STFU now before you post it and look like a fool.

To be honest I am proud of 11-5 without brady, not too bad and so what about the playoffs they were not winning the SB without brady and without some help in the secondary and is there any point in going to the playoffs without wining it all.. NO

around these parts this decade it's win it all or bust.. OHHH as a side note I really really hope the patriots remove that stupid undefeated regular season banner from gillette it's a embarassment.. do it like the celtics championship banners ONLY

BTW go steelers.. Thats my team for this years playoffs, now that atlanta is out
