Yeah, wouldn't doubt it. I would respect that.

several boston sources claim he is slightly behind schedule but has been seen working out at gillette by credible media...

At this point we know nothing of his condition.. And battling sources does not help.. One souce claims he is way behind, two others claim thats BS and he is a few weeks behind because of the oct. infection issues.

Olny people that know anything are not talking.

Either way I doubt cassel is back they can not make it work under the cap, if brady is out for 09 or part of 09 o'connell will be the qb.

Now if the pats release brady outright then we got our answer right there.

They really need to think about taking a look at switching the home game in the wild card round to whichever team has the best record.

12-5 Colts @ 8-8 San Diego (Colts beat them already in CA)

11-5 Atlanta @ 9-7 Arizona

If both teams have the same record give the nod to whatever team won their division, but come on a team who won 4 more games has to travel because the other team won a **** division?

All of the road dogs are favored. Funny how the ball bounces when the wild cards are better on paper than the division champs.

I am more than a little nervous about playing San Diego, I would have MUCH rather played Denver. The Chargers are playing pretty good right now.

I think that Arizona and Minnesota are going to win even though they are underdogs at home. I think that Baltimore is about a lock to beat Miami in Miami. The Colts I wouldnt bet on that game to save my life. Its basically a pickem game with the Colts being favored by 1. Judging from the history of Dungy/Manning with the Chargers in the playoffs I would say the Colts lose.

I hope I am wrong, but who knows.

Btw for everyone saying that the Steelers schedule was so brutal, they played 7 playoff teams and went 3-4 against them. Only 3 of which were road games (Beat Baltimore twice, and San Diego by 1 in Pitt)

The Colts played 6 and went 5-1 in those games 4 of which were road games (Won @ Minnesota, Baltimore, @ Pittsburgh, @ San Diego, Tennesee)

You know him personally huh?

Brady wont retire unless he has to and they tell him he cannot play any longer. Hes to competitive and he wants another ring to much to just walk away from the game w/ years still left in him to play.

I think we are jumping the gun on whats going to happen with brady..

How the patriots handle this offseason is the only indicator I will trust when it comes to how far behind brady is..

A lot of sources are dualing right now about the condition of bradys knee.. Anybody who follows patriots football will be able to tell you that if you are not in a need to know postion you will know nothing when it comes to injuries involving this team or the plans they have for trades..

So it might be awhile untill we know for sure what is going on with brady.. This infection thing is a shame since I have no doubt in my mind if the operation went ok he would have been 100 percent on return since he is not a scrambler and it was his front knee ( landing) when he is throwing.. the rear knee is more important when it comes to throwing the football. since power on a right handed thrower is generated from the right leg

One thing I do know.. Brady punched his ticket to the HOF years ago so he does not have to worry about that..

Ive seen enough interviews w/ him and his reactions to wins/losses to know that hes just not going to pack it in and call it good.

How about put some money where your mouth is on if he walks away and retires on his own or comes back b/c of the game. If not then shut your trap as usual w/ stupid uselsess comments.

I wouldn't fear SD. Denver has NO D. As far as scedules go between Pittsburgh and Indy, Pittsburgh statisticly had the harder of the two. But Indy is playing MUCH better on offence right now.. Won 9 in a row. Thats pretty impressive.

Sadly, this is true. Not only do we have holes at several positions, but our defensive coordinator is one of the worst in the league. Our players had no clue what scheme they were running and it showed.

As sad as I am about the Shanahan firing, the silver lining is that the entire defensive coaching staff will be gone.

well the packers didn't make it the jets are out please brett retire befor u give me 15 more heart attacks. go home and hunt and farm and take care of your hot ass wife that i would love to bone. or come do my girl whatever just stop it.

I dont care, until the Colts win it is a scary game. The Bolts have been a harder team to beat than New England over the past few seasons, at least for the Colts.
