You can do your rear suspension no problem. Dont let the mechanic MAKE you pay for it when you can do it! I put my MM lower control arms on three nights ago, which entailed removing the springs and shocks, the only thing I didnt do was uppers... Get a buddy to help you out and save some cash! Did you get a good deal on the wheels, or are you staying away from deep dish rears to keep more of the original bullitt look? I think youre gonna need some more tire if your engine combo is going to be stout.

getting cobra bumper, new hood, new paint, new rear tires and spacers and have to install rear suspension tomorrow if possible....it will come around...project is still early...
Hell yeah...:nice: yours pulls it off w/o the wing.......not mine though.....I like your parts list above......it looks good now....can't wait to see the finished product...:D

you seem to have a big pile of parts there don't you.........good luck brother..

most IRS systems that get taken out of 03/04 Cobies will go for about 1500 bucks

I'm sure the install would cost a fair chunk, but there's a guy in my town here who's already IRS'd a fox body and I think he'd be happy to help me out

It really all depends on what you're looking for in a car as well. If you're building a powerhouse for an engine and intend on using it at the strip all day, the IRS really isn't your best route. Straight axle conversions are somewhat popular for 03 Cobra guys who spend all day at the track.
