in the junkyard i see a 89 mustang with the blue interior. what kind of paint do i get to paint the dash pad and dash black and where do i get the paint from?
I used Krylon Fusion in Satin Black to paint the dash on my '84. The stuff works great, as long as you're not spraying it on vinyl or rubber or any other soft plastic stuffs - it never seems to dry at all on that stuff, but on hard plastics it dries almost immediately and sticks really well without bubbling up or flaking off.

so the stuff works on the dash pad too?
As long as it's not that soft, flexible kind of plastic, it'll work just fine. Again, for some reason the stuff just never really seems to fully cure when it's applied to stuff like vinyl or plastic rubber or whatever, but on hard plastic it works great. And as mentioned above (I forgot to mention it, too), it's a good idea to use that Bulldog Adhesion Promoter on whatever you're painting - that stuff works GREAT at making the paint stick and STAY stuck.![]()
