picked up a world class tremec for dirt cheep brand new it use to be able to blow the tires off through second now it will only chirp
1 2.95, 2 1.94, 3 1.34, 4 1.1, 5 .63
i know that the gears are lower than the stock ones didnt think it would be that much of a difference
SO what diff gear for the rear still the 308 back their

If that is truely the gearing you have in the trans, you can use 4.10's for normal driving.
When i went to the 600, the long first bugged me, if you have a ton of power it's not a big deal, but if you are under 400rwhp it feels way too long.
a .63 overdrive leaves you at a pretty low rpm, that's why you could get away with the 4.10's.

I was going to go the 4.10 route over 3.73's, but i've decided to just add a few more hundred hp instead.

stock bottom end gt40p set up p$p .040 sheved ect.,got to re gear it dont have 200 more hp in the buget yet the 1st is a big difference then the stock t5, i put the tranny in whan the motor was all stock it was a dog!!!!!

I know my 87GT with H/C/I 3.55's spins in 1st and 2nd with my TKO and that's with an aluminum flywheel. My cousins stock H/C/I aluminum flywheel 89GT doesn't light them up but it does hook and go 3.08's (also TKO).

I ran 4.10's in my old 89 with a T5-Z that has a .64 5th and it cruised on the highway easily. If you arn't planning on boosting the car later I would put 4.10's in it.

Is there something I'm not getting here? All 87-93 mustangs came with a "world class" t-5 with a 3.35 first gear. If you did infact swap it out with another "world class" t-5, nothing should have changed.

You are right. All Mustangs since 1985 have used the WC T-5....5.0, 2.3L, 3.8L and the new 4.0 V6 use a World Class T-5.

The Z-spec T-5 is the 2.95 geared T-5. A lot of guys call it the WC t-5 incorrectly.

Also, Tremec is a brand. There are 8 Tremec transmissions for the Mustang

Yeah thats gonna happen with that tko. The TKO WILL eat close to about 20 hp over a a regular t5 and that is proven on dynos. They are heavier and beefier of course. Before I installed my TKO, i installed 3:73's. Now you need a more mods just to make up for it.

it is a t-5 its a tremic brand got it with alot of other parts i dont know whare the guy bought it from he said he paid 1400 for it, not from a factory car it came with a gold short shifter on it
the #'s i pulled off it were
