Chevy man gone bad.

As the title state's I have alway's owned GM until I decided to buy the Mustang over the not so attractive Camaro. So I just wanted to say hey and see if there are any problem's with the 2009 Stang I should know about before I void my warranty. Honestly I think I have my eye's open for the first time and I'm not saying I dont like GM they have just moved down on my list these past few year's.

Great looking GF, Mike! Nice choice in cars, too.

I was once a GM guy. Even though my first car ever was a Mustang (27 years ago), I did own a 1968 Pontiac GTO for 9 years (1987-1996) and I had a 1972 Chevy Nova that my dad bought brand new with a small block Chevy. When I eventually got it in the late 1980's, I swapped in an L71 Tri-Power 427 big block from a '66 Corvette. Tunnel ram, big cam, square-port L88 style heads, etc. and pumping out about 550hp - it was quite a monster. GM has often had much more powerful engines than Ford, and the new 2010 Camaro is no exception. However, Ford has adequate power, a huge aftermarket to reach any power level you want, and nice overall packages that GM can't quite provide anymore (in most cases). I owned a fast Mopar once, too, but only once. I like most any brand of V8 musclecar, but do tend to be biased toward Ford's.

Again, nice choice in the '09 Mustang GT and welcome aboard here.

I also am a longtime gm guy who has recently converted. I finally tired of constantly fixing my 94 TA, so my girlfriend pressured me into getting an 08 mustang gt. I felt dirty at first but now that i've had the car for awhile, i will never buy gm again. The camaro is a tank at 3800+ lbs. Even the mustang is about as heavy as i will accept a performance car to be but damn its a sweet car. And the best part is, holy aftermarket! Almost as customizable as a scion xb! (inside joke hehe).
