Hi All,

Is there a trick to removing the lower rear valance? There's a line of screws across the top but what happens at the seam where it meets the quarter? If I look down inside the trunk dropoff I can see a thin bolt sticking through down near the bottom but there's no accessible head on the exterior side.

What's required to remove?

Thanks in advance.

Chris

A small deep socket (I forget which size, something around 3/8) a 12" extension, and ratchet. The bolt head is square-keyed into the bracket on the panel.

Thank you.

So just so I'm 100% does that mean that the nut is removed from the interior side (trunk drop off area) and then the bolt is pushed back out through the panel towards the exterior? If so, I guess I'll need to sand the exterior side until the head of the bolt appears and can be pushed out.

Does that sound right? Thanks again.
