Pics of Convertibles w/aftermarket suspension

;)

FWIW I don't think you should be allowed to bitch about springs if you've only changed the spring and left stock style supporting crap on it. I would suggest the OP to look into who runs what for springrate along with the advertised drop. Springs are only one part of the equation of when you lower it as to how it's going to treat you. Mine's hammered to the ground and I can make it ride like a stocker if I chose.

P.S. - Black Stampede that car looks sick!!!

Well put hanky.. thats the whole reason for the original post in the first place.. i wanted to find a good drop and find out what was all needed to make it handle well with that drop.. from the looks of it, im gonna need the springs, shocks/struts, cc plate kits for sure.. now im reading about bump-steer kits and ball joints etc.. looks like it got complicated for me again.. lol

Bumpsteer kits arent a must have. Neither are the ball joints. Get the springs/struts/shocks and cc plates....and see where u are. Then move on to the other 2 if u feel its necessary.

Everything in this hobby is about matching. Properly matched engine components is no different than matching suspension components. You cant have a strut that thinks Spring "A" is on the car, when really Spring "B" is there. They work together.

you got it.. thx for the info.. so far my plans are to get the fms c-springs, tokico hp's and mm c/c plates.. also gonna get some sfc's while im at it.. thx for the help everyone..

its been years since i bought my stuff...but it was the tokico bullit package. Its on a coupe....but i have been happy.

One thing i would say is to consider running adjustable struts/shocks. Hell maybe even coil overs if u wanna save for a bit longer. That way you dont have to come back to it later....
