Hi there :)
This is my first post here, but i've been sitting many hours on this forum reading many interesting posts, and hope you can give a norwegian some input on this kit.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MUSTANG-II-1964-65-66-67-68-69-mustang-IFS-kit-SHELBY_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem5ad6b9ced2QQitemZ390149557970QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

This is the cheapest MustangII canvertion I've seen in a while, any thoughts?

Thinking about converting my '67 to disk brakes, and this kit wasn't that much more expencive than just the brake kit...

As much as I don't like Heidts I think you should buy it from them. That looks like a knock off of their product. It's still also missing parts that you will need to make it complete. Not really much cheaper than a standard kit really

I've been looking at the Rod & Custom Motorsport & the Heidts front suspension kits and am torn on which one to go with. Can you tell me why you don't like the Heidts system? What are the pros and cons? Since you don't like the Heidts system, which system would your recommend and why?

Thanks for your inputs, was hoping this was a complete system...

I know you didn't ask me, but if it was me, I'd definitely go for the Rod & Custom one. My only reason not to, is that with PS and PS pump it is over $3000 I think.

Now I'm into the thought of making my own thanks to the following thread, well see how it goes...

Rack&pinion - Vintage Mustang Forums

They are a bunch of morons and liars is what it boils down to. Got screwed out of about 600 bucks. Long story short ordered a rear suspension kit and it was too bouncy with the shocks that come standard. They said we could return them. I asked them if I could order them first because it was the guys daily driver. That way his car wasn't down. Then return them for a refund once the work was done, and the car was gone. They said it was fine. Guy comes in, we swap the new adjustables in and he pays the difference. We send the stuff back and then we get a call that because they are used we can't return them. I told them they were told they were used, and asked how else we would have known they bounced too much. Their basic response was their guy I talked to would have known better, and there was no way he would have said that. If they wouldn't have returned it, that would have been just fine. I would have told the customer he had to pay for it, because we offered it to him in the beginning. But at the time he just didn't want them. So I got stuck with coil overs that are complete junk, and shipping 3 times. I don't recomend them because they're crooks.

There are lots of companies out there like that. It's funny because lots of people think highly about one company that they have bought once from based on one experience. Do it twenty times and see how differently they treat you when your a small company.

The only thing I like about the H kit of the R&C was it sleeved the frame, then you weld in the cross member. But all the R&C its I' have seen, never see the frame cracked at the rail where the cross member was.
