help me choose: Roush tvs vs Kenne bell stage 2

I bought my ROUSH saying I wanted a car already setup with the right amount of power. In stock trim I dynoed at 368 at the wheels (435 flywheel),

So whats the difference between a Stage 3 and a 427R???

427R is a stripped down version of a Stage 3. It has 435HP (M90 supercharger with stock engine), upgraded suspension from stock (GT) with a few other options.

The Stage 3 comes with a forged bottom end with 540 HP (customer order up to 800HP) and bigger blower (TVS), upgraded suspension up from the 427R, customer interior, etc. The Stage 3 is the top of the line and its a limited run while the 427R is not.

Sorry to contradict AutoX, but this is only true of the 2010 stage 3. The 2005-2009 Stage 3 has the exact same engine/blower combination as the 427R. The main differences are forged wheels, slightly differently tuned suspension, big brake kit as standard (optional on 427R) and some cosmetic goodies that are exclusive to the Stage 3. Mechanically however, they are more or less identical.

To the OP, in answer to your original question, TVS FTW!

I was referring to current models since there was no particular year specified.

For the years 2009 and older, yes, the 427R is a stripped down Stage 3.

Well I was asking more about the 08-09.. since you had one I thought you would know ..LOL dont have the $$$$ to get a new one ...

Sorry... :p

So Stage 3 will have all the options; upgraded suspension (upgraded from 427R), brakes, forged (light-weight) wheels, and custom interior with Stage 3 unique badging... Plus the very limited run...usually under 100 cars...

The only car that was upgraded even further was the limited P51 model which had a built engine with a bigger blower (TVS) rated at 510HP.
