95GT sputtering?

I have a 95 gt and it sputters during acceleration this is my first mustang so i dont know a whole lot about them if i hold it at a constant speed the sputtering goes away any thoughts?

Give it a tune-up.

Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, air filter, change the oil, clean the MAF...

Go from there.

I have already done everything except the air filter, fuel filter, and clean the mass air ill give that a try

The best way is to remove the MAF sensor from the air intake housing and spray liberally with MAF, Electrical or Non-Chlorinated brake cleaner. The element is fragile. If you use these cleaners there is no need to touch the element as they will dry without leaving a residue.

another thing to consider is that a fellow member, the_mustang, had a stumbling/stuttering problem that would not go away. eventually he replaced the oxygen sensors and that solved it.

but do the other stuff first. the sensors are likely to cost you $75 or more, so if the problem is elsewhere, then you can save that money
