Can anyone tell me where to get some headlight blackouts / covers for a '66. I have seen several gt350 originals and clones with them on over the factory headlights. Typically used in race applications, and ona race prepped car during track time. I have seen them now as covers, mimicking the race look.

I have looked all over the place and just keep finding pictures of them, but no vendors. If anyone knows where to find them, point me in the right direction please. Thankss

GTS was always the biggest name in black outs plus u can take the "s" out of the stickers and have more "GT" badges. Real good service. I would start with them and let them point you in the right direction if needed. May need to make your own in the end. You can also try "mustangs plus" on independence ave in kansas city mo. They have a lot of hard to find parts.

Typically they used black tape. This is an R Model Shelby in 1965.

The covers you are looking for, though, are here on page 38:

I've checked all the reg part sites and searched shelby specific sites as well. Just having a hard time locating some. The tape was the alternative and used commonly as well.

This is what I am looking for.

A friend of mine bought the covers from Cobra Automotive and uses them on his '65 GT350R recreation. He installed some sort of suction cup to the back side so they are easy to install and take off for headlight use. If you are interested I will find out how he did it. I'm planning on getting a set for my '70.
