40's are the perfect lateral tire IMO, you want some give, too little and the tire will slide and too much.... Depending on your suspension it could create an under or over steer problem. I run a 275/40/17 on all corners with a 36mm offset but a 45mm will work well in the back.

If you're keeping the stock fox track I would guess it'd be fine... I have a SN95 width track, hence the necessity for the extra offset.

You can run 45mm all the way around, just run a spacer up front to make up the difference. That way you can rotate your tires too, even with the 36mm offset up front i run a small spacer, but i have my fenders pulled, and its only for the extra clearance with the coil overs
