AC removed.....heater not working?

I removed my AC some years ago but the winters are cold where im at so just wondering why my heater does not work. If you remove the AC does it disable the heater? The fan does not come on or anything. Is there a way to enable the heater even tho the AC is removed?

What parts of the AC did you remove?

I removed the compressor, the condenser, and the canister that is attached to the firewall along with the lines.

Does the blower motor receive power? Check the fuse and for power at the resistor pack.

Once that's fixed, see if the vent-setting functions. If not, put your hand up under the windshield and see if the air is coming out of there. If so, the vac line for the vent settings was likely disrupted and needs to be fixed (the vent selection is vacuum controlled).

Ok quick update. the fan works but just blows high speed. and yes the air only comes out at the winshield. so I would really appreaciate the location of where to find that 'resistor pack' and also the location of the vacume line that controlls the vent. THANKS A BUNCH

FIXED! heater blower works! vacume line fixed. resistor pack repaired (just need rust removal with a wire brush)
