I have a 6-cyl 96 5 speed that is making a strange noise in the clutch that I have never heard before and I have been driving a stick of one model or another for almost 25 years. It is only making the noise when I depress the clutch pedal. It is making a sick liquidish whirring kind of noise every time I push the pedal in and when I release the pedal, it stops immediately. Any ideas what's causing this and how to fix it?
