I would suggest straps like these to contain your hunk of wires going from the front to back of the car. Hang them from the roof inside the car along the door frames for an awesome custom look.

Would you be able to get the engine low enough in a Fox though? I was thinking you might have to do a complete drivetrain swap out of an AWD vehicle. A transverse mounted engine like a AWD V6 Fusion, or a SHO Taurus if you had the coin. I think a truck 4x4 system might take up too much room.
