Hey guys I have a 95 Gt that has new motor and 3.73 gears but she still rides like an old car. It has new kyb struts all round but thats it. Do you guys know of any suspension kits that would make er handle like a new car, where should I start? I'm not looking to pull 3g's on the skid pad just something that will handled better and and not beat me up so bad. I'm sure I need new ball joints ect, inner tie rods are new. Oh and budget is a factor because it's not substantially high.

Thanks

mike

If you want it to handle better... Get some Maximum Motorsports XL Sub frame connectors welded in and get some H&R Springs. Then you can get urethane front control arm bushings. Moog Ball Joints. Rear boxed control arms. In that order.

Sub frame connectors will tighten it up for sure. Just driving it down the highway may not be noticeable, but once you turn into a corner, you would know it. Rear, upper and lower control arms are a good idea. If you are going to do springs, grab a set of prothane isolators as well.

Depending on of far, and how much money you want to spend, you can look into a total bushing kit.

Bushing kits are great, BUT.. the labor to install 'em seems to be outrageous. I got an estimate of $632 just to intall bushings in front control arms. Now mind you thats taking control arms off, replacing bushings, and putting them back on but still. Lot of labor for a $50 part

Lowering springs, subframe connectors, upper and lower control arms, cc-plates, etc. I'm sure it's all worn out. Just replace/upgrade as finances allow. You'll be glad you did!

I bought some prothane front control arm bushings and moog ball joints and moog inner and outter tie rods and I DREAD installing them. Also bought some H&R SS sptings with MM CC plates. Right now the car has eibach pro kit springs with BOI rear control arms (crappy poly bushings and each end instead of the better sperical on one end like MM) and I think KYB gr-2 shocks/struts and the car actually rides very well. Also prothane motor and tranny mounts which seem to help also.
