Brakes MM S/S brake hose question

hi all, i have a 5lug brake setup in the front with 2001 GT PBR dual piston brakes calipers... currently the orginial brake hose are rubbing on the tires and are wearing down. I want to upgrade to Stainless Steel brake hose but i want to know if there was a cheaper way to doing this.. LMR has the kit for 90$ but i see Summit Racing has a kit for 50$ SUM-220388(without the fluid bolts) thanks.

What make car are you getting the brake hoses for that they are rubbing?

You can't use fox lines, as they may rub. Unsure if this is your issue but don't want you to see the same issues with new expensive lines.

im sorry its for a 1990 mustang, but i am using the brake lines from a 2001 mustang gt right now, and im having rubbing issues with those...I just used the adapter from fox lines to sn-95 lines

No matter what lines you get, you'll still want to tie them out of the way, with a light spring or some loose zip-ties.

not really from what ive been looking at. zip ties are a great way to get the hoses out of the way though.

I just put summits ss brake lines on this past weekend I used my old fluid bolts.They are way out of the way of anything. And you get all three lines and crush washers for 50 bucks great deal

Can you feel a difference in the braking after the SS install? Do you have stock Fox brakes or have you converted to 5 lug? Thanks.

Yes big difference all the sponge is gone period.

Yup, you will feel the difference.

Do the rear lines as well. Body to axle, and rear calipers if you converted

Definitely a difference in pedal feel with SS lines. Not sure if the MM lines will provide any better performance/quality than the Summit lines, so I'd say go with best price there.
