So my 2015 focus needed inspected and for some reason was burning coolant.

Took it to the dealership and while I waited I looked at the new 2017s

Well long story stupid they were willing to work on the price, but was like ehh $100 more a month payment or so.

Guy was like here's it for the weekend to help you make your decision.

Nonetheless enjoying the loaner for the weekend, but thinking of keeping it now haha

I like that color :nice:

I'm not trying to insult you by any means, I would be driving it too. Give me keys to a new mustang and say I can drive it.....

Well like I said if I could paint and had a garage...fox for life.

But that dam Focus has just went out of the 36k warranty and starts to burn coolant. Wife swears it's a lemon and doesn't even drive it anymore.

Just what ever you do, don't tell madmike :hide:

I've driven a few of them. My coupe make similar power. But the two cars feel like total opposites. It's hard to adjust to the difference in feel. They are nice though!

My car doesn't make close to power like yours or the new 5.0 but totally agree with you. Different animals

Meh,....I work around them everyday (nice, fast, new cars) I drive everyone of them regularly, and I would certainly LOVE to have an M2, but I have a car.

I have two actually. A Mini, and a Monster

The key is the daily driver. You have to want it to justify making the pymt. If it has issues, or you don't like it, you'll justify the 100.00 more monthly,...the dealership had nothing to do with it.
Everybody has their rule sets as to how they live,..A.Some live in debt to their eyes and have nothing to show,B. Most manage their finances and live what most consider a managed normal life, C. Some save every freakin cent, drive old cars, eat out at Applebees, (When they do) and are on a mission to amass a retirement fund, just waitin on getting old.

My dad was a "C" guy,.....He had several hundred thousand dollars in an IRA, and a full military 30 yr pension. He was set to spend his golden years fully debt free.
But He died at 59..Drivin old junk,...eating at crap restaurants, never having (or wanting) anything new.

A new Mustang is very cool no doubt,...and if you won't feel 100.00 extra bite into your ass, I'd say get what you want. You live exactly one time....I'd do my best to take advantage of it.

I like my old crap, it drives good , interior is not ratty and is reasonably comfortable, fun to drive, the looks, well lets just say it ain't shiney but I don't care.
She drives a focus se, I tell her I don't like it but the truth is I just don't care about it, it is an appliance, clean, economic and has held up well. When we decide to get her a newer car we look for one year old cars with almost no miles on them, saves a whole lot of money, oh, and we pay cash for them.
When I look at what people pay for a car after all the payments are made I just  add that the trade still had money owed that gets tacked on the back.
But then, that sure is a purdy color, I'd buy one but she would make me sell all my crap and get a job.

^^^what Mike said. Only you know your finances/future plans etc. nobody gets out of this life alive. If the question is 100$ more for that over a Focus worth it?...uhhh no brainer for me...I'd rock with the Mustang.
